TICKETS
Tickets to the recital are always in high demand. One ticket admits one person to the show. Students participating in the show will not need a ticket.
Tickets are NOW ON SALE
If your dancer is in more than one show, you must purchase tickets to both shows. If your dancer is sitting in a seat, he/she will need a ticket. Children aged 2 and under, sitting on a lap, do not need a ticket.
PROGRAM SPACE
MDC puts on two major shows each school year as part of its thriving performing dance program, we will be offering business advertisement spaces as well as personalized greeting spaces for dancers for our souvenir recital program. This is a great opportunity to share your business or a special message to your favorite dancer!

Recital Guide
Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and positive experience for our dancers, family, and staff. We thank you in advance for your compliance with these rules and guidelines, as they will help us make our show both successful and entertaining.
In this guide, we have tried to provide you with all the information you need about the recital.
Recital Fees
STUDENT RECITAL FEES – $85.00
This includes venue rental, accompanist fees, equipment rental, program printing, administrative fees, insurance, video, and photography. This fee does not include recital costumes.
CLASSES WILL RECEIVE A PICTURE EMAIL OF EACH COSTUME, TIGHTS AND SHOES INFORMATION.
Recital Rehearsal & Photo Day
PHOTO DAY
Individual photos will be taken at the studio by Digital Art in mid-April. Please refer to the March Newsletter for your child’s assigned time. To the best of our ability, students have been scheduled around their approximate day and class time, and siblings have been scheduled together. We also use these days to verify that all costumes look alike and to answer any questions on how costumes are to be worn. Therefore, all recital participants are required to come for a costume check even if they do not choose to have pictures taken. Costumes should be worn complete with correct tights and hairpieces. For pictures, you may wear your hair in any style you wish. Light makeup is suggested. No classes will be held these days.
Payment is due to Digital Art, or you can pay via Venmo to @motiondancecenter and add the package to the memo.
You may also purchase a recital ad at this time. For students whose costumes do not arrive prior to the April shoot, we will hold a make-up individual photo and costume check day.
